Vehicle Description

Super rare, highly sought after, 1937 Lincoln Zephyr 3 window coupe… Early Custom. This is a single year only car and only a few thousand produced.
I purchased a near perfect rolling 37 Zephyr about 6 years ago. Brought it directly to Mike Bellos @belloskustoms there it underwent a 4 year transformation. I wanted to keep the car close as possible to its stock appearance inside and out, with a slight chop and laying it to the ground, keeping the original Art Deco style.
Triple Black paint job, 4 inch Chop Top, all new glass, windows operate perfectly, Seamless fenders, deleted running boards, (I still have original running boards). No other 37 Zephyr will lay out on the ground like this one. Mike went to great lengths to make this happen, the front part of the frame had to be shortened in a small section in order for the front to completely sit on the ground.
The sought after 6.0L LS motor is under the hood with an automatic 4165e transmission. Independent front suspension with rack and pinion steering, Wilwood disk brakes, custom front sway bar. 4 Link rear with Ford 9 inch and 2 compressor Air Ride system all around. The 37 Zephyr is running its stock 16 inch Artillery Wheels and Hubcaps in the front with period correct whitewalls.
The interior is as it would have been in 1937 right off the show room floor. The new gages are hidden in the glove box directly in front the driver. AMP and IPod jack for music, speakers are behind the seat.
You can get in this car and drive coast to coast no problem, you can idol in a line at a Cruse Night for an hour and never overheat. I have owned a few customs and this is the best driving best handling I have ever drove, no joke. You can go 80mph for miles and the car is rock solid. Multiple Awards, including the Grand Nationals Roadster Show. I have lots of Pics that document all things since I have owned the car. The best of both worlds with this resto mod, Early Custom. I have only had the car out on the road for less than 2 years, a couple thousand miles and went to only a handful of shows, the car is still fairly fresh on the scene.
