Vehicle Description

This is my 1965 Ford Falcon Ranchero. This little truck was redone top to bottom by the previous owner. It has a Ford Motorsports 302 (not sure of the HP, but there is plenty!) and a five speed Tremec transmission, four wheel disc brakes, power steering and a nine inch Ford rear axle. The seats are from a Mustang. You will notice no fuel filler on the outside of the car, it has been moved to inside the bed for a cleaner look (see pic). The only thing I have done to this car is add three ‘65 Comet dash pieces in order to get the four round gauges and round speedometer. However the only Comet gauge that reads is the fuel gauge, as I never changed out the sending units. The speedometer works, but is a little optimistic. There are three Auto-meter gauges under the dash (oil pressure, temperature and amps). The previous owner modified the front support to accept a big block Chevelle radiator. It has a manual controlled electric fan, and I’ve never seen the temperature go over 185 degrees. It has no stereo or radio, and no a/c. The only issue is that the power steering is a bit noisy. The car was sold new at Hauter Ford in Montrose, CA and I have the original bill of sale. This is a fast, fun little Ranchero that I’ve enjoyed owning. I’m downsizing my collection, which is the reason I’m selling. The car is in my name with a clean Oklahoma title and is located 18 miles south of Tulsa, OK.
